Saving Bobby (Paperback) This is not my usual genre of book, and I don't read a lot of religious based books, but every so often I will pick one up and be astounded by how much it makes me question myself and that is what this book did, as I find my beliefs to be similar to haw Bobby reacts initially to all the talk of God and prayers. I am not what would be called religious but Saving Bobby was such a great story which really let me look at what life must be for someone struggling with such pain and suffering, and how frustrating it must be for someone to say trust in God and pray and let Him in, if you want to understand the way life is and why things sometimes happen the way they do.
I love the story and I cried and cried at the reunion, such a sad story but one that teaches a valuable lesson along the way.
