Shadows & voices; a Holly Silverstone adventure (Holly Silverstone books) (Kindle Edition) I love this book, it is exactly why I love to read, it captured me in the first few pages and drew me in further with every new page.
I love Holly she is definitely a character I really like. She has all the usual hang ups about not fitting in and being afraid of new things, but she also knows she is something special especially when she gets the mysterious self writing letter from Highlands Academy, which is right in her neighbour hood but she never knew it existed.
I love the teachers, they are all quirky and fun and Ovissa is a book all on her own with all her sluething and dangerous past times, I love how it is just one misadventure after another that she finds herself in.
I love the doorways and the overlapping of Obscura and the seen world, it adds depth and character to the story, and I would love to be able to speak those magical words Opus Tempo that everything would just freeze for a minute and let me catch up.
I can't wait for the next book in the series to see how much trouble Holly can get herself into this time and see what parts of Obscura she lands herself in.
